Her Royal Highness Princess Maha
Chakri Sirindhorn is deeply concerned for the
hardship of the people, children and youths in
remote areas. She has initiated several Royal
projects for improving the quality of life of people
living in remote and underdeveloped areas. In
undertaking her development works, the
Cooperative Auditing Department ( CAD ) has
prescribed and promoted accounting for school
children under the Development plan of
Children and Youth in the Remote Areas and the
Development Plan of People Occupational Groups.
The Cooperative Auditing Department determines to facilitate projects in every remote
areas in order to enhance a sustain accounting knowledge.
First of all, we would like to start with H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s
Biography. Her Royal Highness Priness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, born on the second of April
1955, is the third child of Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of
Thailand.
Her Royal Highness began her formal education at Chitralada School, where she
completed her primary and secondary education, ranking first in the National School Examination
both at the primary level in 1968 and at the upper secondary level ( in the Arts Track ) in 1973. At
the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, she studied History as her major with Pali –
Sanskrit and Thai as minors. In 1977 she received a Bachelor’s Degree, First Class Honours, and
was awarded a Gold Medal for outstanding achievement in her major subject and an Honorary
Gown in recognition of the highest academic performance in her class.
For her graduate studies, Her Royal Highness enrolled at Silpakorn University where
she received an M.A. in Oriental Epigraphy in 1979. At the same time, she studied at
Chulalongkorn University where she received an M.A. in Pail- Sanskrit in 1981. She earned a
Doctor of Education degree in Development Education from Srinakharinwirot University in 1986.
The formal education, however, represents only a small fraction of Her Royal
Highness’ Intellectual and academic pursuits which are for her a life – time endeavor.
From her school days up to the present, Her Royal Highness has never stopped learning.
Her inquisitive nature leads her to constantly investigate and explore new subjects. Her concern
for the benefit of the Thai inspires her to untiringly seek out new knowledge and solutions
