Happened upon this lovely outdoor kitchen affiliated with The Terrace Restaurant and Hotel inside the old city. Nok, the Food and Beverage Manager gave a wonderful, unhurried market tour (complete with tasting) for our small group of three, stopping to answer every question. We then returned to the open kitchen where we prepared multiple Lao and Thai dishes with her fabulous kitchen staff (Thai Head Chef and Lao Assistant Chef). We ate as soon as we completed each course, al fresco along the river. At the end of the 4.5 hours (+/-) we were presented with lovely completion certificates. Very reasonably priced and a very good value. We liked it so much we signed up for another class!
