Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) production:
Bacterial strains isolated were inoculated
into nutrient broth and incubated at 37ºC for
24 hours. 100μl of the bacterial inoculum
was then inoculated in the nutrient broth
supplemented with 5mg/ml tryptophan and
incubated at 37ºC for 72 hours. After 72
hours the amount of IAA production was
determined by taking 1.5ml bacterial broth
culture which was centrifuged at 12,000 rpm
