a. Emergency Service Requests
(1) The Contractor shall respond to emergency service calls and address emergent conditions to minimize and mitigate damage to facilities and equipment, and danger to personnel. The Contractor shall remain at the work site until the emergency has been arrested.
(2) Outside normal hours of operation, the Contractor shall have a superintendent or a foreman authorized to act for the Contractor on call twenty-four (24) hours per day, Monday through Sunday, including holidays, to receive work orders and service orders, and to direct maintenance personnel to perform duties required by this contract. The Contractor shall respond to emergency calls with the appropriate service personnel and equipment to commence work within 60 minutes of notification. Additional personnel shall be available on stand-by status to perform emergency service.
