The secondary metabolite composition of black–purple rice was
determined using HPLC–PDA–MS2. Anthocyanins were the main
flavonoids in the rice, followed by flavones and flavonols. Carotenoids
and c-oryzanol were also present. No procyanidins were detected
in black–purple rice extract. The basis of the proposed
