Abstract
Study of bioplastics made from cellulose extracted from the pulp and peel fruit. This material is discarded as waste. Causing an unpleasant odor and can be a source of spreading diseases to the community.
This project aims to study and experiment with the production of bioplastics from cellulose extracted from the pulp and peel fruit. To increase the value of the pulp and peel fruit. Found that the amount of cellulose pulp than durian peel. Extracted using sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide bleach solution.
Found that the use of sodium hydroxide pH 12 for a period of 12 hours and bleach in the proper environment with 15% hydrogen peroxide for six hours produced from cellulose pulp and peel fruit. When ground into a powder for a bioplastic or synthetic carboxylic acids react with CMC by chloro acetic under Carl Bass to CMC. Bagasse and 97.52% and 98.75%, durian shell plastic compost or when in a natural state. (There will be no light or otherwise) can be decomposed by biological processes. By microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, yeast) to produce carbon dioxide and water.
