The staircase area in this residential building effectively blocks the heat from entering the living area. Furthermore, the staircase has been designed with a skylight, which serves the purpose of allowing natural light. We opted for a skylight in the staircase area due to its central location within the house, which otherwise tends to be relatively dim. To regulate the heat entering through the skylight, we chose to use laminated glass, ensuring that the area doesn't receive excessive heat during the times when one needs to pass through it.
