The Museum Siam is housed in the former building of the Ministry of Commerce in Tha Tien district, and after a complete transformation was on 2006, it’s a modern museum within the vast area of 3,000 square meters, with the intent of creating several new learning based institutions along the lines of “living” museums or “discovery” museums. The museum is a museum that uses interactive storytelling with seven characters as intermediates. It focuses on the national identity of the people in Thailand which lets visitors learn about history of people in Thailand with a focus on people in Bangkok. The museum shows the development of Thailand from the past to present The highlight of the Museum of Siam is creating a new experience, especially, for children and young people. It creates a sense of knowing their neighbors and friends. The modern technology and creative activities make leaner history and stories more interesting than before. There are the Permanent Exhibitions, Temporary Exhibitions, and Learning Activities with Creativity. The idea of Museum of Siam is? Play + Learn = Plern? Which means joyously in Thai.? This idea is the heart of the Museum of the National Curriculum. The Museum Siam is located on Sanam Chai Road, Pra Barom Maha Rajawang Pranakorn District, and Bangkok in Thailand. Museum Siam is open every Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm and it closes on Monday. The tickets for admission have different prices. A ticket costs 50 baht for students (15 years and below). For Thai adults the price is 100 baht, and for foreign adults it is 300 baht.
