A passenger ferry caught fire early on Saturday while it was docked at theport of Ormoc in Leyte province, central Philippines.Amateur video footage shot by Serbisyo Publiko of Newsonline, an online news publisher in the Philippines, showed several men climbing down from the top deck to escape the flames and at least one man jumping into the sea.Officials said the MV Wonderful Stars was carrying 544 passengers, who were all taken off the vessel to safety.Two crew members suffered minor injuries.The fire broke out shortly after the ship arrived from central Cebu city early on Saturday, according to a Coast Guard spokesman. Coast guard spokesman Armand Balilo said it wasn't immediately clear what caused the fire.Last month, a ferry capsized in strong winds shortly after departing from Ormoc port, leaving more than 60 people dead.
