orbital shaker at 150 rpm for 24 h at ambient temperature

of contact time (0–180 min), biosorbent dosage (2–40 g/l), initial
metal ion concentration (10–50 mg/l) and temperature (20–40 8C) on
the metal species sorption. In the biosorption experiments, unless
otherwise stated, the biosorbent dose, temperature and initial metal
ion concentration were 4 g/l, 30 8C and 50 mg/l, respectively. After the
biosorption, the samples were centrifuged, filtered to analyze the
metal ion concentrations.
