Rogers (1995) stated that while early adopters are different from late adopters in education, two groups are not different
in age.
In addition, early adopters are characterized by higher social status and more wealth (Rogers, 1995).
In general, it is risky and costly to adopt an innovation in its early stage and people in higher socioeconomic status are more likely to afford adopting an uncertain innovation.
