As kids, we're taught many things. Don't talk to strangers, don't cross the street without looking both ways, don't pick your nose in public, and whatever you do, you must never... EVER... Shoot in direct sunlight... But wait... Some of the world's most renown fashion photographers shoot their portraits in direct sunlight! In fact, I've seen a few international fashion photographers set up their studios outdoors, just to get that direct sunlit look.
I don't know where it started, but somewhere, somehow it became an unwritten rule of photography, to never shoot in direct sunlight. The best part of this is that you'll need little to no materials to produce the looks in this tutorial.
