According to Table 1, R. oryzae lipids were composed mainly by
33.6% oleic (C18:1n9) 29.3% palmitic (C16:0) 14.6% linoleic
(C18:2n6) 8.3% stearic (C18:0) and 4.6% linolenic FAs. Oleic, palmitic
and linoleic FAs have also been reported as prevalent in several
fungi species (Silva et al., 1998).
