Air Filling by the Chaipattana Aerator
His Majesty the King proposed the design and
promoted the development of the prototype
of a slow-moving, floating machine for air
filling at the water’s surface or the
“Chaipattan Aerator”. The machine consists
of water propellers and water receptacles that
spray the water in order to expose it to the
air. This enables the oxygen in the air to be
speedily dissolved into the water. When the
wastewater which is lifted to expose to the air
returns to the water’s surface, it will create air
bubbles that sink into the water, creating the
circulation of oxygen. The Chaipattana Aerator
is useful for air filling, creating a type of
churning and creating air circulation in the
specified directions.
