The research method adopted combines several techniques, such as semi-structured interviews with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the hotel group, the director of IS/IT’s department of the group, as well as the heads of logistics, human resources and financial areas of the IS/IT’s department of the hotel group, in order to find
inefficiencies and inconsistencies in the information used and facilitate the analysis of the processes involved. Interviews with key elements of the organization are a way of ensuring an experienced vision of who is inserted in it
and could induce a faster knowledge of what is analyzed. A questionnaire survey for 66 key users was also used.
