Over the experimental period, no death cases were reported in any of the groups
examined. Both at the onset and at the end of the experiment, the mean body weight
of hens was similar in all groups, and the significance of differences between the
groups was not statistically confirmed (Table 3). As expected, in all groups, the body
weight of hens increased during the period of the experiment. In both experimental
groups receiving DDGS, body weight gains were identical and negligibly higher
than in the control group.
