This study mainly discussed the influence of leadership traits on transformational leadership style, as human resource management strategy is likely to be moderated by gender. This paper has demonstrated that there are gender differences in leadership, and there is a relationship between TL, leadership traits and HRMS. Research has also revealed that female leaders were more transformational than male leaders in their leadership styles. Prior review was prompted by the significant under representation of women in today's senior corporate ranks and the theory that a core issue may skew perceptions of leadership ability. The paper can provide a theoretical framework that explains the relationship between gender, leadership traits and TL as viewed by HRMS.
