The adoption of an active lifestyle is often associated with positiveattitudes toward exercise. In recent years, several models have beenproposed to account for the relations between attitudes and behavior. In thearea of sport psychology, models have attempted to provide practicalanswers for keeping participants involved in regular exercise and to increaseour understanding of the factors influencing voluntary health-relatedbehavior.
