The court ruled that THAI board’s action was unfair and caused damages to Mr Piyasvasti.
Piyasvati’s lawyer, Mr Wirat Kalayasiri said that the compensation awarded to his client was not a substantial amount, the real purpose of taking the case to the court was to set a precedent that the government could not sack any employee at its free will.
He said he would appeal to the Supreme Labour Court on issues which were left out by the Central Labour Court.
