The experimental investigation and analysis on a thermoelectric
refrigerator driven by solar cells have been investigated in the open
literature [6–9]. Many recent efforts in the literature have studied
the performance of thermoelectric cooling and tried to improve its
efficiency [10–14]. In this present paper, a design for portable solar
thermoelectric refrigerator was presented and tested experimentally.
The main objective of the refrigerator service is to be suitable
for use by the Bedouin people who live in the remote areas of Oman
where electricity is not available. The refrigerator can also be used
for remote parts of the world or outer conditions where electric
power supply is not readily available.
