Favorites are a way to create shortcuts to forms, reports, and queries. Recent locations are a useful tool for a quick easy access to the forms you use most often. Now let's switch over to AX and I'll demonstrate how to add favorites. So now I'm going to show you how you can use favorites in recent locations here in Microsoft Dynamics AX. As you can see on the dashboard here, the recent locations are listed. And this just really shows you what forms or workspaces you recently opened and this is very helpful. It just gives you a quick way to get to that data instead of having to navigate through the navigation pane. You can also see the favorites listed here. Another useful tool to get to the forms or activities that you use most often or might be most important to you in your daily job. So to add a favorite, you simply just click on the navigation pane. As you can see here, open customer forms is favorited already. The star is highlighted here. Let's say I want to go into accounts payable and I'm interested in the vendors. I simply just click here on the star and it's added to my favorites pane there on the dashboard. Again, if I want to remove a favorite, I simply just unclick the star and it's no longer highlighted there. So that's pretty simple way to, you know, again, get to the information that's most valuable to you.
