The study reported here is a first attempt to understand how Extension professionals are currently involved and have interest in future involvement with farm to school programming. Respondents were found to be currently involved with an average of one farm to school program activity and interested in being involved with four farm to school program activities. The difference between current involvement and interested involvement may be because some Extension professionals lack the expertise to be involved with farm to school program activities. An implication for Extension administrators is the opportunity to support new professional development programs that provide training and resources to help increase current farm to school program activity.
