Kleenex Facial Tissue promotes the sustainable management of forests and has achieved FSC certification: the highest possible standard for responsible forest management. This in turn has led Kleenex Facial Tissue to gain the Forest Stewardship Council certification and the support of WWF to continuously promote environmentally sustainable products.
In 2010 Kleenex Facial Tissue was granted certification by the Forest Stewardship Council, internationally recognised as the world’s most rigorous environmental and social standard for responsible forest management.
In addition, Kleenex Facial Tissue carton box is made from 95% recyclable board.
Kleenex Facial Tissue also designs and specifies packaging in accordance with the principles of the Australian Packaging Covenant Sustainable Packaging Guidelines and has a policy of buying recycled content for packaging where functionality allows. Continually improve its environmental performance, prevent pollution and responsibly minimise and control its wastes
Plan, construct and operate all operating locations to comply with applicable regulations and to act with due diligence for environmental protection and improvement

Source its paper-products fibre from either:
Recycled fibre recovered from waste paper or
Virgin fibre which is made from wood out of forests which have had their operations and management certified to one of the listed forest management systems.
Help conserve resources by the design and production of products to reduce the use of raw materials, packaging and energy in manufacture, and by recycling production wastes.
Communicate openly and constructively with responsible environmental interests, government authorities and the community generally.
