2. PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION
2.1 Employment Agreement
A written employment agreement should be established between the employee and
Berg+ Schmidt Pte Ltd. The employment agreement to be signed by the Managing Director or Executive Director.
2.2 Personal Particulars
The personal particulars of employees are kept and maintained by the Personnel Department in a centralized manner. To ensure that personnel records are updated, please inform the Personnel Department of any changes in your personal particulars as soon as possible. These particulars include educational qualifications, marital status, residence address and contact telephone numbers.
In particular, it is important that employees keep the Personnel Department informed of every change concerning their next-of-kin so that they can be contacted in case of any emergency.
2.3 Confirmation
For any employee due for confirmation of employment with the Company, a confirmation letter will be issued by Personnel Department to the respective employee upon approval. Confirmation Letter to be signed by the Managing Director or Executive Director..
2.4 Promotion
The Company believes that employees should be duly recognized for good work and be rewarded in the form of promotions to more responsible positions. Promotions will beased on past performance, willingness and capacity to take higher responsibility.
Staff promotions are normally made at appraisal during January each year.
2.5 Individual Performance Planning and Appraisal
Performance appraisals will be divided by corporate level and conducted during January. Both employee and supervisor will self-appraise / appraise the employee’s performance during the previous calendar year. The standard form used for appraisal is appended as Appendix III. There are different Appraisal for Executive Level and Managerial Level
The appraisal is followed by a performance planning session, during which the employee and supervisor will agree on objectives for respective year ahead using a standard form (see Appendix II). Said form will be used in the context of the subsequent year’s performance appraisal.
2.6 Transfer within Stern-Wywiol-Gruppe
Company reserves the right to change job description or transfer you to other departments
or transfer within Stern-Wywiol-Gruppe depending upon market conditions and company requirement.
3. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
3.1.1 Working Location, Hours & Dress Code
3.1.1) The working location work are as follows unless separately specified at the

3.1.2) The working hours of are as follows :
Monday - Friday : 9.00am - 6.00pm
Lunch Break : 1.00pm - 2.00pm
3.1.3) Overtime
Overtime (daily hours longer than 8 hours) shall be compensated only if the overtime is specifically requested by the management. It is objective of the management to avoid overtime either by increasing manpower or improve efficiency of work process.
3.1.4) Work on non-working days (week-end and public holidays)
Work on non-working days is only called for under special circumstances. If any employee works on non-working days, he or she will be compensated with credit of extra annual leave accordingly.It will be compensated, if the extra working day was specifically ask/requested by management.
Leave granted for Work on non-working days
For employees of grade 1-9: 3 hours minimum - ½ day annual leave
6 hours minimum - 1 day annual leave
For employees of grade 10-12: 3 hours minimum - none
6 hours minimum - none
Leave granted for Traveling on non-working days
For employees of grade 1-5: ½ day annual leave
For employees of grade 6-12: none
3.1.5) Dress Code
Office wear during office hours with an option of smart casual wear on Friday only. (eg. Jean with Co. T-shirt)
3.2 Pre-Employment Medical Examination
Each new employee of the Company is required to go for a pre-employment medical examination prior to commencement of employment. The offer of employment is subject to the employee passing the medical examination.
3.3 Probation
