TS/Sales Team
Just a quick line to inform you about a new rule for Camembert, which will soon be extended to other products :
The warehouse will now use the FEFO method for Camembert . FEFO means First Expired, First Out, meaning that we can not choose the lot we want to give to the customers (Except LSG).
This said , the warehouse set a rule: No Camembert with less than 2 weeks of shelf life will be sent to DC, and no less than 1 week for BKK customers (except for clearance, but this will have to be informed BEFORE we send you the lot).
It doesn’t mean that the DCs will receive only products with exactly 2 weeks shelf life, it can be longer, but it will not be shorter, and you can not ask for camembert with 5 weeks shelf life when we have some with 2.5 weeks in stock.
This means you will have to pay a bit more attention to the stock, and to rotate the stock a bit more.
Please feel free to come back to me or to KL for more explanation.
