Siamese cats eat when and as much as they want. They room around the house or outside without answering to anyone. In fact, they come to people only when the urge move them, sometimes responding to an agreed- upon name but more often acting on some far-off Cal of the wildimpelling them to race madly away. Sometimes they sitter quietly about the room on their own private hunt; other times they pound heavily across the carpet, dashing over the back of the couch and down, demanding attention. The most independent of all cats, the Siamese insist on personal freedom.
