The polynomial equations obtained were used to calculate the maximum cellular concentration (Cmax, cells ml1),
for each run of the 22 Central Composite Design (CCD).
The maximum specific growth rate (lmax, d1) was obtained through exponential adjustment in the logarithmic phase of growth.
The results of Cmax and lmax of the runs were analyzed statistically through the analysis of variance and response surface methodology.
Similarly, pH, electric conductivity (EC), and dry weight (DW) were measured at zero-time and at the end of the experimental period.
