I just received formal notice of a cost increase on several products (due to raw material cost going higher) this morning, including Notox Ultimate. Note the information below.
Please give me your volume indication and shipping timeline to see if it is possible to revisit Notox Ultimate price offer. Please refer to the updated proposal as my best and final offer – unless you give transparency on what volume commitments can be expected. Without visibility, I cannot adjust.
If we cannot agree to work together despite these very favorable prices, I do not see how it will be possible for BP/PAH and Provimi to work as partners in the future. Our discussions continue to go in circles with only topic being price. There is no reference to sales plans, customer development, product positioning or other proposals to grow the business. Normally, in a partnership, we spend 80% of our time working together on commercial activities – figuring out how to generate more sales which benefit both parties and the customers we serve.
Agin, I ask whether it is BP/PAH’s sincere desire to work with Provimi to develop sales? Perhaps if external sales are not a priority, BP/PAH may prefer to focus more specifically on internal sales to Betagro? However, I am not sure that will be enough to achieve our target?
Please let me know on volume indication – and I will respond promptly regarding decisions on price.
