4. Analysis Data at TR 1250 kVA
4.1 Existing harmonic
Base on above data, they illustrate that harmonic voltage and harmonic current are over than
the limitation of G5/3. So we would like to recommend that the harmonics should be limited lower than
the G5/3 standard by eliminating the harmonics current which is real cause of harmonic problem. We
would like to propose a power quality filter (PQF) to eliminate harmonics current. The PQF will be
installed parallelly with loads in the system as Fig.4.
4.2 Measurement Data
As the data measurement, we can conclude as following below.
- The average voltage is around 400V. It is balance and stable always.
- The current betwwen each phase is balance
- The trend of the loads is stable.
- The power factor (PF) of the system with old capacitor is 0.89 .
- In full load case ,The harmonic current order 9th higher than limitation of recommendation G5/3
