The Camellia oil seed were initially cleaned with deionized water and dried, followed by a reaction with HNO3(nitric acid) to fully engage the lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose components. Subsequently, Mg(NO3)2 (Magenesium nitrate) solution was added, and after thorough mixing, the resulting material was filtered, washed, and dried. A portion of this dried material was roasted in a microwave oven under nitrogen gas at varying temperatures and holding times, yielding a new MgO-AC composite.
