Three types of peanut butter product inoculated with S. Typhimurium to a level of ca. 6.6 log CFU/g and subjected
to gamma irradiation experienced significant (p b 0.05) reductions of 1.3 to 1.9, 2.6 to 2.8, and 3.5 to 4.0 log CFU/g
at doses of 1, 2, and 3 kGy, respectively.
