The majority of the sulfur-containing
compounds detected in this study were dimethyl disulfide,
dimethyl trisulfide and dimethyl tetrasulphide. Despite our
efforts to maintain a moderate temperature (o50 1C)
during HS-SPME sampling, it is possible that some of
these compounds were artifacts of our sampling method.
