while all of the interaction effects were identified as not statistically significant. These data suggest that the best hydrolysis yields are derived from the use oftemperatures above 55◦C and concentrations between 0.125 g g−1and 0.25 g g−1. However, while SA-AWB6 and SA-AWB8 showed thebest hydrolysis performance, the former was more viable because pretreatment was performed under a lower NaOH concentration. Also, there was a noticeable improvement in hydrolysis when theultrasonic power was increased from 70 W (SA-AWB5) to 140 W(SA-AWB6) but the Pareto chart revealed that this effect was not considered statistically valid in the proposed model.
