The purpose of this study were: 1) to express the score of pre-test before learning vocabulary by five tactics of Mnemonic Strategies 2) to show the score of post-test after learning vocabulary by five tactics of Mnemonic Strategies 3) To determine any significant differences between scores of pre-test and post-test before and after learning by five Mnemonic Strategies, and 4) To determine learners’ attitude, opinion, and comments towards learning by five Mnemonic Strategies.
The total population was 23 five to six-year-old student from National Institute for Child and Family Development of Mahidol University. The sample consisted of 13 male and 10 female kindergarten students. Participants were selected by the purposive sampling method. The instruments used in this study were five games by five tactics of Mnemonic Strategy, pre-test, post-test, SPSS Statistics, and interview questions. The statistical devices used for data analysis were Arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, Pair t-test, and One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.
The major result show: 1) the participant’s pre-test scores were under the mean of full score 2) the participant’s post-test score were higher than pre-test and higher than the mean of full score 3) There was any significant difference between scores of pre-test and post-test before and after learning by five Mnemonic Strategies, and 4) Learners’ attitude, opinion, and comments towards learning by five Mnemonic Strategies were clearly positive.
