Inhibition of postharvest rot incidence on sweet cherries (percentage
compared to the control) produced by treatments with Orobanche crenata
or Sanguisorba minor extracts at different concentrations (1, 2, etc.), 1%
(w/v) water solutions of CaCl2 or NaHCO3, and plant extracts in
combination with salts. Buffer treated fruit were used as a control.
Inhibition values of different treatments were evaluated when rot
incidence in the control fruit was around 50%. Values were calculated
using the mean of ten replications. Within each column, different letters
indicate significantly different values among treatments, according to
DMRT (P
0.05).
