There are no special regulations for the installation of the gas jet ejector as the position
does not influence its operation.
Gaskets must have concentric seat to prevent the flow cross sections from being throttled.
Connection pipes should be as short as possible and of sufficient nominal diameter.
Where the mixed-flow connection of the gas jet ejector is smaller than the suction
connection of the liquid ring pump, it would be advisable to install a conical transition
piece. If the gas jet ejector has been equipped with a removable gas chest, then this
connection can be turned accordingly in order to bring the motive connection flange into
the required position (see dimensional sketch).
Whether a by-pass line with shut-off valve should be installed depends on the application
in question. This also applies to the installation of a valve for the motive gas. The
equipment must be well sealed against leakage air.
