Can you put that down? It might hurt somebody's feelings," I gently asked.
"As you command," you replied mockingly with a smile on your face.
But I knew that in your mind you were asking me, "why?"
But I knew that behind the smile you hurted inside.
It was just a stupid thing with even more stupid words.
How would such things hurt somebody's feelings you might had no idea.
But I knew why it did hurt.
But I knew why weak people could not stand the sight of that thing.
As that thing has been taken down, something in you has been broken down.
As that smile of yours has faded away, something in me has been pulled back to reality.
And I knew that the reality is like the gravity - it pulls us closer the same way it pushes us away.
And I knew that the reality is like the gravity - it always brings us down.
Reality.
Gravity.
They are working against me.
