Upstairs, there’s a multi-functional room. During the day, it provides a sitting room with a couch and two chairs and at night those same pieces of furniture convert into a comfortable place that can sleep up to four. All the bedding is actually hidden under the floor in a secret cedar cubby. There’s also a full 360 degree view of the forest surrounding the house. The wrap around windows and the giant skylight provide light from every direction and saves on electricity, which is key in off the grid living.
