Chondrus tissue carbon content was significantly influenced by
stocking density at both 6 °C (p = 0.044) and 13 °C (p = 0.009;
Table 2). At 6 °C, carbon content was inversely related to stocking density,
ranging from32.4% at 0.2 kg m−2 to 30.7% at 10 kg m−2 (Table 3).
