The image processing of the vision system and
the necessary data transfer are completed in less than
one second. Therefore it is possible to reach a cycle
time of a few seconds with the robot. The camera
offers quick location and especially a qualitative study
of the objects. The investigated objects are sorted by
the robot with an accuracy of ± 0.05 mm. In order to
improve the cycle time, the system can be expanded
in another research project, for example with a fully
automated material flow.
