about 3.5 mm. The higher compression of the anode catalyst
layers may have been due to the different morphology of the
PtRu black catalyst, which contains the same amount of
ruthenium species as the Pt (in molar basis). These data show
that, despite lower pressure conditions, this roll-press decal
method produces electrode layers that are as uniform and
thin as the ones fabricated by the conventional decal method
[11].
