Students with disabilities have the same needs as other students: opportunities to learn, to play, and
to form relationships. What is different for students with special needs is the diminished access they have to
these opportunities. Therefore this paper considers whether, in the classroom, multimedia system could
enhance their learning and understanding of subjects. The Preliminary study indicated that the results of
overall learning from multimedia system are as good as the results from learning by print-based method
(taught by teacher).
