After the introductory presentation, Q3 was used to analyse the students’ emotional
response to nanotechnology. A majority 66 % of the students expressed a positive response
to nanotechnology (Table 2). From the data presented in Table 2, we can argue that while
many of the students having positive emotions towards nanotechnology consider nanotechnology
useful, most of those having unclear or negative opinions of nanotechnology
view its risks and benefits as equal.
