4.1. Effects of the flow rate of the lean solvent
Fig. 3 shows the effects of flow rate of the lean solvent on the CO2 absorption process. With the flow rate of the lean solvent increasing, more CO2 is absorbed by the lean solvent and more NH3 volatilizes into the flue gas, the CO2 removal efficiency increases rapidly and the NH3 concentration in the exit gas increases slightly. Effects of the flow rate of the lean solvent on the NH3 concentration in the exit gas are in accordance with experimental results reported by Budzianowski [77] since the NH3 slip is mainly dominated by the flow rate of the flue gas.
