Dear Andy.
After the long and exhaustive discussion on inventory management yesterday at NL I am glad to hear your final word that simply removing K Pachak from the NL orgchart
Quality Assurance team resolves the issue and that the Inventory Management at NL can be achieved by K.Sarayuth signing off on all inventory movement and teaching someone in NL how to measure a stockpile such that K.Sarayuth can translate those measurements once a week into stock numbers for comparison to Navision.
It took a while for everyone to agree but I was finally glad to hear that you do not use and will not require K.Pachak to do this role, and simply changing the orgchart fixes the problem.
Any training you need for the person you are assigning to making the measurement can be coordinated with Khun Joy, and once trained this will serve to raise any red flags early between estimated inventory remaining within Navision and inventory physically on the ground.
As discussed the trick will be to have absolutely minimal stock movement, keeping one single raw mat stockpile and ensuring production stockpiles of screened product does not need tobe moved other than straight to customer, by regulating production to fit sales requirements and signing off on any and all stock movement between rawmat source and factory.
Thanks again for reaching this conclusion and agreeing the fix.
