Dear Arthittaya,
Under Standard 13 of the National Code of Practice, without payment of school fees and according to the AICE’s policies and procedures you are issued with a Notice of Intention to Report due to non-payment of fees.
From the date we issued the Notice of Intention to Report, you will have 20 working days to make the payment to AICE. If you are unable to make payment within time, according to policies and procedures you will be reported for non-payment of fees.
In accordance with the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2007 (the National Code 2007), AICE must inform you of it’s intention to report to the Secretary of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) for non-payment of fees. This action will alert the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).
According to AICE Policy and Procedure 17.2: Tuition and any resources will be withheld should fees not be paid on time. No workbooks or resources will be given to anyone who has outstanding fees.
For non-payment of fees, AICE will notify students with its intent to cancel their enrolment. For fees not paid on time, a late fee at the discretion of the College may apply.
Therefore, you cannot attend classes and will be marked absent accordingly until payment is received.
The late fee is currently set at $50.00 for administrative and time costs.
You now have 20 working days from the date of this letter to the AICE’s complaint and appeals process. AICE’s Complaints and Grievances process may be accessed at www.aice.nsw.edu.au.
If you choose to make an internal appeal, AICE will not report you and your enrolment in the course is maintained until AICE makes a final determination about your case.
