There are three main sorts of shoppers. The first would never waste their time because they know what they need to buy in advance and how much money they can spend on something. If a store offers what they need, they would buy it and pay without having a second thought. They are therefore brilliant customers. The second would arrive in the store with a general idea of what they need, perhaps listen to a salesperson’s suggestions, try on a few things and then make a decision. They are also good customers. The third do not have any slightest idea about what they need or want. They are more likely to spend a few hours trying on some outfits and tend to take up a lot of the salesperson’s time. Every so often, they do not even buy anything. To sum up the first two types of shoppers are salespeople’s cup of tea, but the third is definitely not.
