*Damian's P.O.V*
The adrenaline pumping through my veins stopped me from feeling the physical strain of carrying a girl bridal style (which is rather hard) walking a few kilometres to my house.
I didn't have time to wait for someone to pick me up, (Y/N) was dying, this was the fastest option. It felt like forever until I reached the mansion, I kicked the door open. My family, surprisingly all in one place jumped from their positions on the couch.
I could see Grayson gulp slightly by the look on my face, pure, unaltered rage. "Dad, quickly you need to get the antidote" by the panicked look also on my face he knew which poison I was talking about, though he wanted to ask questions he would get the antidote first. I placed (Y/N) down on the couch, gripping her sleeve I mentally apologized before tearing the sleeve of the expensive uniform off her arm.
The previous Robins gasped at the sight of the arm, it was moving quickly. they had never seen someone in this state, they always left before the poison took affect if they ever used it. Bruce ran over a vial of a clear liquid in his hand, Bruce tilted (Y/N)'s head back.
I popped the cork and slowly poured the syrup down her throat, it was disguised to look like water so if anyone were to chance upon it they would ignore it. The vial was now empty, the antidote would take action and show it's affects in a few minutes.
"How did this happen?" Bruce asked crossing his arms "did you use the poisoned batarangs again? I swear Damian if you di-" "I didn't" I cut of my father. "Stephanie and I need to talk" I stood crossing my arms over my chest sending her a bone chilling glare.
"What did I do?" she asked "last night, you threw a poisoned batarang at her" "what that's impossible the only person I've ever thrown one at was-" she stopped. Realization on her face, Stephanie stood pulling out a pistol from inside the couch and aimed it at the healing girl.
I stepped protectively in front of her, the others standing to try and calm her "Steph, put the gun down" Tim said trying to ease her "she's an innocent girl, we don't harm innocents" Dick added "you guys don't get it do you? She's Catgirl you morons. I threw the batarang at her but I picked a poison one by mistake".
I growled "you don't pick them by mistake, they're in a certain place on your belt, you have to search for them to get them" I accused. Stephanie huffed "fine, so I poisoned her on purpose, she was proving troublesome!" the blonde admitted.
That was when Bruce stepped up, he walked up to her with no fear. Snatching the gun from her hand and releasing the bullets. "What you did was unprofessional and dangerous, you could've killed her" he scolded.
Stephanie threw her arms up in frustration "we're supposed to stop the bad guys...for good! Remember?!" she yelled "not like this, Stephanie, you're banned from leaving this house until I can guarantee that you will not try and kill others am I clear?" Bruce stated "but-" "I said, am I clear" his voice dropped a few octaves showing he was dead serious.
Stephanie huffed once more before turning on her heel and marching upstairs to her room. The other turned to me clearly wanting an explanation "how long have you known?" Jason questioned "a week? Maybe more?" I shrugged crossing my arms over my chest "why didn't you tell us?" my dad spoke up.
I scoffed shifting my weight "because I knew that at least one of you would react like that, (Y/N)'s not a bad person, if she were she would've let out the secret about me by now". Jason stepped forwards "she knows?!" he asked through gritted teeth "she figured it out, plus she ripped off my mask".
"You should've erased her memory" Dick sighed "no! No one is touching her memories you got that? (Y/N)-...(Y/N) is mine to protect I won't let you touch her" I threatened. They shared glances before sighing "fine, we'll keep her secret safe from others and we won't harm her as long as you keep her under control" Bruce warned before walking away the others following.
I sighed in relief and dropped my arms to my sides, during the arguments, Alfred so kindly left a bucket of cold water and a small cloth for (Y/N). I dunked the cloth in the water before ringing it out.
Folding up the material I began patting away at the sweat on her face and neck. Dipping the towel back in a wringing it out once more I now placed the towel on her forehead to keep her cool. Grabbing my handkerchief and repeated the dunking action lying this one under her neck.
That one would keep her entire body cool, I looked over at her arm, the black and greens and faded slightly. But her face was still screwed up in pain. I pursed my lips, gently brushing the back of my knuckle on her cheek.
I stood the upper half of my body hovering over her own, I hesitated, I felt her faint breath on my face. I closed my eyes resting my forehead on her own, and turning my head from side to side slowly "I'm so sorry this happened to you (Y/N)" I whispered
