The T6SS has been linked to virulence in a broad range of bacteria and a variety of bacterial processes, including pathogenicity, quorum-sensing regulation, interbacterial interactions, and biofilm formation (5, 6, 18, 19). In V. cholerae specifically, the T6SS has been implicated in virulence toward J774 murine macrophages
