Lady Gaga fans have started their final countdown to the most anticipated event of the year.
Exactly one month from today, the world's most famous superstar entertainer will be performing right here in Bangkok.
The five-time Grammy Award winner begins her Asian Born This Way Ball tour on Friday in Seoul, South Korea.
She will then visit Hong Kong and Tokyo before stopping in Bangkok for a spectacular show at the Rajamangala National Stadium on May 25 starting at 8:30pm.
The American singer will perform songs from her latest album Born This Way, as well as from The Fame and The Fame Monster.
The electro-metal pop-opera show will be Lady Gaga's first tour since the release of Born This Way, which has sold nearly six million copies worldwide since its release last May.
The album is the follow-up to back-to-back Grammy Award-winning releases, The Fame Monster and The Fame. Combined, the two albums have sold 15 million copies worldwide, while Lady Gaga's hit singles have combined sales of over 65 million worldwide.
It will be interesting to see if local authorities put any restrictions on a show which may seem extreme by local standards.
In South Korea, fans aged under 18 have been banned from the concert after it was rated unsuitable for younger audiences.
